Okay, so there we go with my first official audio journal. Since the response to my first audio file some time ago was purely positive, this is how it goes from now on. Coming to you with a load of trashtalk, entertainment and information about myself.
Some of you know, it generally takes quite a while before I write a new journal. I only do so when I got a bunch of new information, otherwise a journal doesn't make that much of sense.
So for the begin, a quite funny, but also expensive story. I was proud owner of a 4GB Creative ZEN, a genious and beautiful little gadget which I adored. Like 2 months ago I was taking a bath, and just laying around there in the water is boring. So I put the Simpsons movie on the player to watch it in the tube. I was thinking "man, just don't let the player fall into the water or you'll be screwed"... Like 10 seconds later, the player was taking a dive...... I was like "holy shit!!!" while the player was like "warning, warning, system is not compatible to clear liquid, identified as water".... After taking it out of the water immediately, it was still working - for another minute, then everything turned off. After days of drying and a few handmade repairs, I seriously got the player to work again!! Just only with several malfunctions, but it worked good enough for still enjoying music. Few weeks later, after more and more malfunctions popping up, the player got to a level where it always crashes after turning on, no matter what I do. That was the time where it counted as totally broken.
From there on, I used this one weird player I bought some time ago. The player from the weird company Entryx has the same space and functions as the ZEN, but everything was way worse. So rather than listening to my sound with this player for a while, I rather listened to nothing, and this should make you know how that player was like.
Anyway, I wasn't too upset that my ZEN was broken now, because some time ago already I made the decision to buy me the exact same player new - because ONE, my 4GB player had an evil big scratch in the display which really bothers me, but mainly, those 4 Gigs began to be too little space for me. I wanted to have the 32 GB version. Sadly this version isn't sold in Germany, and getting it from somewhere else would mean extreme costs. So I looked for the 16 Gigs version. After some time of searching online at a buddy and only finding used gadgets, I took him with me and we were going to the 2 biggest electronic stores in my city to watch for the player there. The first store didn't have it, and first we didn't plan to go to the second store, but then I just thought.... Ahhh, screw it, we go! And even though I never expected the other store to have the player, since it was kind of a somewhat older model, they really had it! And even with 16 GB!!! I was surprised that they had it, but sadly the price was slightely higher than I could have afforded that day. And there was the moment where you can use damned good friends in life! I wanted to say "fuck, I don't have enough money with me", and before I could finish the sentence, my best buddy Chris, handed me over a few pieces of paper without me even asking for it! He seriously knew that I wanted it and just said "fucking take the thing!". I hesitated but then I did! So now I am proud owner of a 16 GB ZEN! I love the gadget, and for days already I am working to get all my video files encoded for the player, Hahahaha. Gladly I have that old laptop which can run all day and night and code the videos.
Man, that was a long story... So if you are in the status of buying a great multimedia player, I seriously recommend the Creative ZEN to you. Not the Zen MX, the original ZEN. Awesome player with perfect sound quality and good bass, much of space, great menu and controls, magnificent display, integrated radio and SD card slot, sweet design, many good other functions and one of the best features for me: sharp and perfectly fluid running videos which don't take much of space! You have to encode every video with the ZEN-software which takes quite some time, but then you have totally perfect mobile video, which is a joy to watch. Critiques said that the Creative Zen is the heaviest competition to the iPod, and even having a few more functions!
Alright. Enough of the commercials now. There are other things which happened. Monday the 28th of September, I was having my first TV shooting ever. It was for a German law TV series, and if a few German friends might be listening now: Ich war bei Richterin Barbara Salesch - ist jetzt nicht der TV-Olymp ich weiß, aber jeder fängt erstmal klein an.
So it was a really interesting experience. I seriously had the funniest role of all the shootings this day. I was playing a little kind of freak who was like "no, I don't have done anything I am innocent! I wasn't there that day, he's the one you want, leave me alone!!" I got extremely good feedback for my first TV shooting, so I will get more opportunities the coming time they told me. Also I must say, because of my long time of hobby filming and whatnot, I became some kind of semi-professional of the business. So at this shooting day, I was excited, but not nervous. I was the only one who got through his text without even one mistake. For someone who's never worked in front of a real TV camera, I was damned professional I can say. Oh and not to forget, those TV people are really cool, it's great to work with them. As well as the other let's say, actors. Damned nice ones too, not to mention they were some really sexy girls. Hmmmm, tasty!
That shooting day was really one of the highlights this year, the other one will be, when I finally have my vacation at the end of this month and I will drive to my mother. Seeing the old home again, my old buddies and relaxing. Not to forget visiting my old and beloved drawing place outside again! If the temperature will allow it then, I will get to draw there and so YOU people will get to see something again.
To slowly get to an end, my all day's life is alright currently. Working times are quite social currently, no 12 hours days at the moment, mostly just 8 hours! Well thursday was even more than 12 hours, but in exchange, I got Friday free ^____^ Also the longer I am there, the better the work gets because I am one of the people who do the most and best work, so we are appreciated and have a good status. Means; for example if I am coming too late or even missing an entire day, nobody is angry or upset with me, they just take it and work goes on. Like that monday with the TV shooting. I just said to my boss "I have something to do then" and it was done. Oh, and I have my second job at McD's already, quite funny work too. Not much to work there though, this entire weekend I have to work THREE AND A HALF HOURS there! *gasp* You see what I mean.
Currently I don't draw that much, since I have many little things to do. Also it could be some kind of little art block. I still have a request in progress of a little one page comic thing, so if you are listening, I didn't forget you, but I told you, it could be taking a while.
So, I think that's it for now. Next audio journal is supposed to come along in Novermber the 15th - 2064 Muhahahaha!!!! Okay anyway, I have an eye on you! And remember, may we all be thankful for the vixens!!!!
